Indian Stock Market: Nifty and Bank Nifty Technical Analysis 11th to 15th Feb

Indian stock market witnessed profit booking after the 25 bps repo rate cut in RBI credit policy last week. Sensex and Nifty gained 0.25 and 0.50 percent whereas Bank Nifty rose 1.20 percent during the week. Most of the Asian markets were traded negative on Friday due to the concern of a global economic slowdown and the absence of any positive signs for a resolution in the US-China trade row.


In the domestic front, Tata Motors stock fell around 18 percent lower at Rs 150.15 a piece on NSE after the company reported the biggest quarterly loss as it was hit by assent impairment in its UK subsidiary, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) automotive in December quarter on Thursday.

Tata Steel has reported a profit of Rs 1144 crore during the same quarter last year. The revenue of the company has risen 23 percent at Rs 41,219 Cr versus Rs 33,446.6 Cr in last year. The result came after market hours on last Friday, the stock may see some positive movement on Monday

Indian Stock Market Events for Next Week:


Next week there are more than 2000 companies will declare their third-quarter results and most of them are from mid-caps and small-caps. In the domestic front macro data like IIP, CPI and WPI will be released on next week on 12th and 14th February respectively.

As per the technical chart, Nifty future is looking Corrective mode and Bank Nifty is Sideways, the trend of both the indices are Up. Next week the Indian stock market will move as per global cues and domestic macro data that are going to release on 12th and 14th February. Traders should follow the global market and track the macro data outcome. Mid-caps and Small-caps will remain volatile due to the third quarterly earnings in the coming week.
